International Fluid Power Conference (IFK), Dresden 2024 is over!

Kastas Sealing Technologies took part in IFK 2024, one of the world's most important conferences in the field of fluid mechatronics systems, which was held for the 14th time with the motto "Sustainable Production" in Dresden-Germany between March 19-21.
In the organization, which was held with the participation of academicians and professionals who are experts in their fields as well as manufacturers, Kastas took part with its own stand for the first time. 

Our Technology Director Ozan Devlen, who represented Kastas in the organization, commented:
" The 14th International Fluid Power Conference (IFK), held in Dresden after a four-year hiatus, marked its return as a significant event in the fluid power industry. This tradition began in 1998 in Aachen and has since alternated biennially between Dresden and Aachen. The conference and exhibition, boasting over 400 participants, unfolded over three days. Its origins, however, trace back to the Aachen Fluid Power Colloquium (AFK) initiated in 1974, a testament to its long-standing tradition that continues to evolve with international participation today. In 2018, we attended the conference as spectators, but this time we were proud to participate with our booth. The event, attended by academics and industry professionals from around the world, offered a platform to explore intriguing presentations and forge new connections. Our active involvement in this esteemed event significantly contributed to promoting the Kastas brand within the fluid power sector.”

Our Design and Project Manager Sercan Karakoç concluded:
"IFK was an informative congress where the products and innovations of the sector were introduced with a general focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. The key notes meetings organized in line with the program of the congress, which we also enjoyed, evaluated the risks and opportunities that await the fluid industry in the future. In line with the theme of energy efficiency and sustainability, solutions that will increase efficiency with small and low-cost material and design improvements in traditional designs were presented. The use of water-based and environmentally friendly fluids was another topic. As Kastas, it was a very valuable experience for us to take part in such an event."
